Like many robovacs Yeedi Cube requires a little bit of work to begin, which includes setting up an account with the manufacturer's app and connecting it to your WiFi network. Once you've done this, the robot will begin to vacuum and mop easily.
It's important to keep in mind that the mapping process can take a while, and the Yeedi Cube may need a couple of attempts before it can get a good picture of your room. The object detection is hit-and-miss. It was able skirt around furniture and other obstacles, but it was stuck on a rug with tassels, and required a flip to get it out of the way. But these are minor flaws, and the Yeedi Cube is still a excellent choice for those looking for an all-in-one cleaning companion.
3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete
The Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete offers a three-in-1 home cleaning solution. Its advanced mopping features a rotating motion like hand scrubbing which results in floors that are truly cleaned, not just swept. The detachable vacuum stick is an absolute game changer that can reach places even robot vacuums cannot.
This model is nearly identical to the popular X2 Omni but with a slightly higher suction capacity of 8,700Pa and other smart features. And, unlike many vacuums that can mop, it has object/obstacle detection that avoids items such as dog toys and bowls (but not poop).
It also comes with other notable features, like an automatic emptying dust bin, a mop pad that's self-washing and adjustable for water temperature and a side-reaching sweeper brush that is able to reach areas other mops miss. You can also adjust the settings for each room and create cleaning schedules.
Similar to the S8 model, it comes with multi-room smart mapping that can distinguish between laminate, carpets and hardwood rugs with high-pile. And, if you want to cut down on time, it will avoid mopping rooms that aren't dirty. It's a great option when you have a mix of flooring in your home but aren't looking to spend the extra money on the Roborock with advanced mapping features.
7. Q5 Pro
This robot is a great choice when you're looking for a versatile robot that can handle regular maintenance on a daily basis and touch-ups for messy water stains. It has a wide range of features including the ability to empty the dustbin on its own, the water refill dock, and adjustable settings within the app. It's extremely quiet and can easily maneuver around furniture legs or socks. It's not able to pick up knots in the rug, and its battery drains quicker than other models we've tested.
With a cost of less than $250 it's the Q5 Pro is a bargain-friendly powerhouse that packs serious suction and handy automation into a sleek design. It didn't score quite as well in our vacuuming and mopping tests as the much expensive Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra however, it did extremely well overall. It comes with a variety of cleaning options, ranging from the low power 'Quiet mode for light debris to the more powerful "Turbo mode" for carpeted areas. It even has the ability to automate the removal and reattachment of mop pads, and not leave your carpets wet.
8. K10 Plus
The K10 Plus is an excellent robot vacuum and mop that can be used in smaller areas. It's quick and quiet, and it can navigate tight spaces efficiently. It's also excellent in removing pet hair from carpets.
It's smaller than many of its rivals, but it doesn't sacrifice features. It has decent suction power and can be configured to take pictures of every object it picks (i.e. chew toys socks, chew toys) and mark them in the app as 'not located' so that they will not be taken up in subsequent cleanings. The photos are secure, and are not tied to your account.
It is great at vacuuming, but it's not so great at mopping. It makes use of disposable wet wipes that are clipped to the bottom of the bot, and it basically drags them around your floor. Compare this to the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra and Narwhal that have water reservoirs that can automatically wash and reattach their mopheads.
