Best Robot Vacuum Cleaner and Mop

Robot vacuum cleaners and mops are a great method of quickly cleaning up mess. The top robot vacuums and mops that I have tested have top-notch mapping and navigation as well as the ability to remove Cheerios, tangled wires and fake dog turds, without leaving them behind.

They're also simple to use using an app that lets you plan cleaning tasks and see what they're doing.

1. Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra

The Roborock S8 MaxV is the best robot mop and vacuum. It is equipped with the latest features. This top-of-the-line model is swift and agile, picking up debris like pet hair and human hair with a near perfect accuracy in our Debris Pickup Test. It also has a smart-looking app interface with a miniature map of your home and a few on-screen buttons for manual control.

The S8's Dirt Detection Technology allows it to change the cleaning mode according to dirt levels. It will pause and wash its mopping pad more often when it encounters dust, while it will prioritize carpeted areas to mop with a damp pad.

It's got a host of other innovative features too, including an alternative dock that connects to the plumbing in your home to clean and wash the mop roller, without having refilling it manually. With the built-in voice assistant on the S8 it is possible to use voice commands to specify rooms cleaning options and precise control with just your voice.

2. Yeedi Cube

The Yeedi Cube offers a variety of options for those who want a hands-free robot vacuum with mopping capabilities. It's part of a litany of combo robot vacuums with mops, but is priced at a lower price than the majority of competitors.

Like many robovacs Yeedi Cube requires a little bit of work to begin, which includes setting up an account with the manufacturer's app and connecting it to your WiFi network. Once you've done this, the robot will begin to vacuum and mop easily.

It's important to keep in mind that the mapping process can take a while, and the Yeedi Cube may need a couple of attempts before it can get a good picture of your room. The object detection is hit-and-miss. It was able skirt around furniture and other obstacles, but it was stuck on a rug with tassels, and required a flip to get it out of the way. But these are minor flaws, and the Yeedi Cube is still a excellent choice for those looking for an all-in-one cleaning companion.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete

The Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete offers a three-in-1 home cleaning solution. Its advanced mopping features a rotating motion like hand scrubbing which results in floors that are truly cleaned, not just swept. The detachable vacuum stick is an absolute game changer that can reach places even robot vacuums cannot.

This model is nearly identical to the popular X2 Omni but with a slightly higher suction capacity of 8,700Pa and other smart features. The RGBD sensor upgrade can learn your home's surroundings and provide the ability to avoid obstacles in a dynamic manner. The app's smart features allow you to alter a variety of settings including AI cleanings and virtual boundaries.

The X2 Combo is also self-prepping by having both the robot vacuum and mop returning to their charging base after each task to wash their pads, empty their dust bins and place debris into bags that self-seal. This helps keep the system tidy and stops allergens from recirculating. The battery life is long enough to cover large areas without requiring a recharge mid-clean.

4. Eufy S1 Pro

The Eufy S1 Pro is a top-quality robot vacuum and mop model that has impressive features for affordable prices. It is equipped with a powerful 8,000 Pa suction power as well as a rotating brush for carpets and hard floors, and great obstacle-avoiding. It also has an innovative mopping system which utilizes a continuous roller dosed with water to pick dirt and then deposit it in the dirty water tank.

Its navigation system performed well. It avoided steps and walked close to walls without falling. It was unable to handle fine debris and didn't always clear the raised thresholds in rooms. The operating noise level is also high, which suggests it could be less of a set-and-forget model than other models.

Like many robotic vacuums and mop cleaners, the S1 Pro comes with a docking station that lets you refill its clean water, empty its dustbin and mop pad, as well as wash and dry its mop. This makes maintenance simple and lets the S1 Pro spend more time cleaning floors in line with the regular schedule. You can manage all of its functions via the Eufy app. It provides an easy overview and lots of configurability.

5. Freo X Ultra

The Freo X Ultra is one of the top robot mowers available, and offers amazing mixed vacuuming and mopping performance.  This Web page  mapping sensor can recognize furniture legs and other obstacles with a decent precision, and the application lets users fine-tune the map coverage, create zones that are not allowed to enter, and set cleaning preferences. The Freo's main roller brush is also designed to prevent hair from wrapping around it, which could be a major issue with many robotic vacuums.

The Mop Mode also impresses, with Reuleaux triangular mop heads spinning at 180 RPM and apply up to 12N downward pressure. The mopping system also incorporates smart carpet detection, lifting these pads upwards when they're in proximity to soft surfaces, preventing them from contaminating them with.

The docking station that is all-in-one functions as a hands-free maintenance center, automatically washing and drying the mops before refilling them with detergent and water. The base station has an integrated dust processing system that compacts dust and allows for seven weeks of uninterrupted maintenance.

6. S10

A few hundred dollars less than the S8 This robot does a bang-up job of keeping my office tidy and is able to tackle the corners of my tight apartment. It uses laser mapping and a camera to make an image of your home, so it knows where to stay away from. And, unlike many vacuums that can mop, it has object/obstacle detection that avoids items such as dog toys and bowls (but not poop).

It also comes with other notable features, like an automatic emptying dust bin, a mop pad that's self-washing and adjustable for water temperature and a side-reaching sweeper brush that is able to reach areas other mops miss. You can also adjust the settings for each room and create cleaning schedules.

Similar to the S8 model, it comes with multi-room smart mapping that can distinguish between laminate, carpets and hardwood rugs with high-pile. And, if you want to cut down on time, it will avoid mopping rooms that aren't dirty. It's a great option when you have a mix of flooring in your home but aren't looking to spend the extra money on the Roborock with advanced mapping features.

7. Q5 Pro

This robot is a great choice when you're looking for a versatile robot that can handle regular maintenance on a daily basis and touch-ups for messy water stains. It has a wide range of features including the ability to empty the dustbin on its own, the water refill dock, and adjustable settings within the app. It's extremely quiet and can easily maneuver around furniture legs or socks. It's not able to pick up knots in the rug, and its battery drains quicker than other models we've tested.

With a cost of less than $250 it's the Q5 Pro is a bargain-friendly powerhouse that packs serious suction and handy automation into a sleek design. It didn't score quite as well in our vacuuming and mopping tests as the much expensive Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra however, it did extremely well overall. It comes with a variety of cleaning options, ranging from the low power 'Quiet mode for light debris to the more powerful "Turbo mode" for carpeted areas. It even has the ability to automate the removal and reattachment of mop pads, and not leave your carpets wet.

8. K10 Plus

The K10 Plus is an excellent robot vacuum and mop that can be used in smaller areas. It's quick and quiet, and it can navigate tight spaces efficiently. It's also excellent in removing pet hair from carpets.

It's smaller than many of its rivals, but it doesn't sacrifice features. It has decent suction power and can be configured to take pictures of every object it picks (i.e. chew toys socks, chew toys) and mark them in the app as 'not located' so that they will not be taken up in subsequent cleanings. The photos are secure, and are not tied to your account.

It is great at vacuuming, but it's not so great at mopping. It makes use of disposable wet wipes that are clipped to the bottom of the bot, and it basically drags them around your floor. Compare this to the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra and Narwhal that have water reservoirs that can automatically wash and reattach their mopheads.
